SUMMARY
Assists theActivity Manager in providing an ongoing program ofactivities designed to meet tt]e interests and physical, mental,andpsychosocialwellbeingofeachpatienl
ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIESindudethefollowing.Otherdutiesmaybe.assigned.
•Assistsandworks·withindividualvolunteersandvolunteerprogramsattherequest oftheActivityManager.
•Conducts activity programs as planned to meet the functional levels, needs and interests of each patient asassigned bymanager.
.,Completes appropriate records indicating patient's attendance and participation in individual and group activities inanaccurateandtimelymanner.
•Completesassessments, MDS, care plans and gathers infonnation to design activities.that are multi-faceted, meetpatients'functionalleve.ls•andreflectneedsandinterestsofeachpatientasassignedbysupervisor.
•Assistswithescortingpatientstoandfromactivities.
•AssistsinthedevelopmentoftheActivitycalendars.
•Completesrequiredformsanddocumentsinaccordancewithcompany policyandstateand/orfederalregulations.
ENTRYQUALIFICATIONS
•Highschooldiplomaorequivalent,orone(1)tothree(3)monthsrelatedexperienceand/ortraining.
•Previousexperienceinahealthcaresettingpreferred.
•Proficientintheuseofapersonalcomputer.
SUPERVISORYRESPONSIBILITIES
InManager's absence, maysupervise volunteers and others for whom the department isadministratively and professionallyresponsible.·
